It does not mean that people with the spiritual gift of celibacy
who are married should now seek a divorce on these grounds.
Yes, it does, if you want to be saved. Celibacy is NOT a spiritual gift,
but a command of self-discipline to ALL who desire to be redeemed into
heaven.
1Timothy 4:1-3
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath
created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the
truth.
celibacy is not and has never been a command by God.

Sure, read 1 Cor 7, and see if Paul comes down to save you.

You're right, Rick. And as usual, Dore is wrong.
You do have a perfect mate out there somewhere, we all do. And it is only
by
following God that you can ever hope to find her. He will lead you to her
if
that is His will. But trust in the Almighty is all important. I did not
meet
mine until I was nearly 40. And I made many mistakes along the way. But
having someone that is truly one with you is well worth the wait. We now
have two wonderfull little girls, with a third child on the way.
The family of God is just that, a family. And what better way to know
God's
love for us, His children, than being a part of a family in the Lord?
Jesus said "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and
lowly
in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light".
Sure does not sound like the "Jesus" of Dore, does it?

women
to marry and have children.
When a man and a woman marry they become one. Are you saying that

you

NO, you must DO, discipline yourself, and CHOOSE all things ON the
earth,
BEFORE you are ever judged to be considered worthy of the crown of
eternal
life. People who marry on the earth are the children of THIS life, but
the
children of God, do NOT marry or if they did, then they LEAVE and
FORSAKE
ALL things of the earth, including, wives, husbands and even children,
as
you can see in the above scripture.

all
that
pleases God, not all that pleases yourself.

Exactly, IF this WERE post resurrection, we would be already SAVED,
and Dore would have no purpose, she defeats herself

On Tue, 3 Jun 2003 11:45:49 -0600, "Duane Morse"
No, Dore, the first resurrection has yet to occur.
Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of
the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the
dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a
thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and
set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the
thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a
little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was
given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the
beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their
foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and
holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second
death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with him a thousand years.
These events have yet to occur, and this is the ONLY place in the Bible that
mentions the "first resurrection".
As for the soul of Man, it was created in the image of God, male and
female. You do not understand it, nor do you understand the "rib" being
spoken of.
In fact, you do not understand much of anything due to your clouded and
deluded mind.
Be seeing you
Duane
you wrote.
"being the children of the resurrection."
It is as I say, Dore. It is AFTER the resurrection that we will BE of
the
resurrection.
The first resurrection has already occurred. All men who have historically
lived on the earth have been resurrected back onto earth, for this day of
the first judgment.
you wrote.
And marriage was not brought about just for the purpose of procreation.
God
did not create a separate soul in Eve, but divided the male and female
of
the soul of the Man Adam. They were, are, and always will be, one; one
Man,
one soul. Married from the beginning, and throughout eternity. Marriage
was
not "created", it is a state of being. They were "married" when God
first
formed Man from the dust of the ground, before Eve was ever taken out of
Adam. And they remained so after the division. And will remain so after
the
rejoining, and through each and every division and rejoining throughout
eternity.
No, he created Eve from the rib of Adam and imparted to her, her own soul.
They came together to be of one flesh to multiply the earth. Marriage is a
CHOICE by man to procreate, but here in these end times, ALL mankind has
had
every word of the Bible to seek, study and OBEY to be prepared for this
time
in judgment. If they marry, as Christ said, then they LEAVE their families
to SERVE GOD alone to receive eternal life.
Gen 2:21-24
and
he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
and
brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she
shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave
unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
(KJV)
Nothing about sharing a soul, just flesh.
Gen 3:20
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all
living.
(KJV)
And thus she was called Eve because of their procreation.
you wrote.
Learn something. God hates divorce, and here you are saying to all the
married couples that they should divorce. Jesus never said any such
tripe.
Marriage is sacred, especially to God.
He hates divorce for any other reason than for the purpose of serving
GOD.
Mark 10:29-30
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man
that
hath LEFT house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife,
or
children, or lands, FOR MY SAKE AND THE GOSPEL'S,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and
brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with
persecutions; and in the world to come ETERNAL LIFE.
(KJV)
Apparently, Christ DID say such tripe.
Matthew 19:4 ...Have ye not read, that he which made them at the
beginning
made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave
father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be
one
flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore
God
hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
A man shall CLEAVE TO his wife, not divorce her.
Stop trying to put asunder what God has joined from the beginning, Dore
AntiChrist.
Notice the words AT THE BEGINNING. We are NOT at the beginning, we are at
the end, therefore all mankind is to prepare himself to SERVE GOD ALONE to
be redeemed and given the crown of life. You ALL have had the Bible for
many
centuries NOW to KNOW and prepare yourself for the judgment. If you chose
to
marry, and seek the things of THIS world, then you have NOT DONE what the
WORD requires to prepare for JUDGMENT, thus you must rectify it and LEAVE
your families to be chaste, pure, holy and righteous SERVING GOD ALONE.
For
when you choose to marry, like the scriptures states, you do all to please
your mate, and NOT GOD. But to be redeemed and given eternal life, you
must
DO ALL to PLEASE GOD. And thus, if you leave your wives or husbands to
please and SERVE GOD, man is NOT putting it asunder, but GOD IS.
Hey, if you want the things of this world and you love your family,
husband
and children more than God, then you made your choice, just don't expect
to
be saved.

"being the children of the resurrection."
It is as I say, Dore. It is AFTER the resurrection that we will BE of
the
resurrection.
And will remain so after
the
rejoining, and through each and every division and rejoining throughout
eternity.
Learn something. God hates divorce, and here you are saying to all the
married couples that they should divorce. Jesus never said any such
tripe.
Marriage is sacred, especially to God.
AntiChrist.

you wrote.
So, Dore, are you saying that all who are married will never see the

That's right. That's what all of those scriptures are saying.

Jesus never said not to marry in this world. He said that if you

NO, they are NOT. The death here is speaking of spiritual death for
when
they have been judged and accounted worthy to obtain heaven, they are
given
the crown of life. And Christ did say that either you are not to marry
or
forsake ALL things to FOLLOW Him, including marriage and family, to
walk
as
He walked. Marriage was created for procreation, but here in the end
of
the
world, those who desire to be redeemed, DO all for GOD, not to indulge
in
the pleasures of THIS world. As the scripture states, if you marry,
then
you
are a child of THIS world, not separate and taken out of it, as the
righteous and faithful of Christ are.
You cannot be in complete submission and servitude to God, if you are
serving and walking in the things of this world, which includes
marriage.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath
created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the
truth.
celibacy is not and has never been a command by God.

Before I decided to respond to your message, I read each quote given, and
the whole of the chapters of scripture mentioned. I have studied these
scriptures using the 1611 translation of the King James Version and cross
referenced them with the New Intenational (english language) Version.

Luke 20:34-36
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and

In otherwords people will marry, while on earth but as there is no need for
marriage in heaven, no one will marry in heaven. Jesus spoke these words to
the Saduesses, who were asking if He approved of the custom of a widow
marrying her brother in law so that she could have a child, if she and her
late husband never had the chance to concieve. The eldest son (maybe all
children from this type of union) would be viewed by the public as being
raised by his/their mother and uncle. This passage actually begins at verse
27
Matt 19:10-13
10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife,
it is not good to marry.

eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's
sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
KJV
This sermon begins at verse 4 Jesus was asked about the spiritual
legitimacy of divorce. His reply was that the only time a man may divorce
his wife is if she was proven to have commited adultery. He (Jesus) also
said that if a divorced man remarries during the lifetime of his ex-wife, he
then commits adultery. Jesus then goes on to say; some people were born
sterile (or do not have the neccessary biology to have sex) others had been
mutilated (castrated) by human hands and others who have made the decision
not to have sex or marry, as that makes it easier for those people to serve
God in a meaningful way. Jesus' closing remark is "THIS MESSAGE IS FOR
PEOPLE WHO ARE(WISH TO BE) SEXUALLY ACTIVE." The message was never intended
for people who are not able to, or do not have the desire to be sexually
active.
Rev 14:4-5
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were

KJV
Note: REDEEMED
This is the prophecy of the 144,000,000. The selected people (the
144000000), were chosen, to provide a special message because they resisted
the temptation (or possibly never had the chance) to live immoral lives.
Dore, I hate to be the bearer of 'devestating' news, you by you own
admission within this newsgroup are not a virgin so you won't be one of
them. I on the otherhand will be if Jesus was to return before I gave away
my virginity. Even if you were a virgin you have to be male to be part of
the 144,000,000.
1 Cor 7:32-34

KJV
The message given commences at verse 25 'Now concerning virgins, I have no
connandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment as one that hath obtained
the mercy of God'

. Verse 27 'Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed, art thou
loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.' v28 'But and if thou marry, THOU
HAST NOT SINNED, and if a virgin marry, SHE HATH NOT SINNED. Never the less
thou shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

The passage ends at verse 39 stating that divorce and remarriage during the
lifetime of an ex-spouse is still not permitted or advised. Note the phrase
"I have no connandment of the Lord", the passage is not Gods instruction,
it's the opinion of Paul.
Matt 19:27-29
27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and
followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have

father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall

KJV
Neither condems sexual activity or comands celibacy. Jesus had just
explained that those who choose of their own free will to deny themselves
the blessings a family could bring them will recieve blessings of a
family 100 times greater, when they get to heaven. Nowhere in the text does
it say that there
is not a blessing in procreating or earning an income. This is a
contiunation of the previously discussed passage Matt 19:10-13. Please read
the verses 13-26 when reading these two quotes.
Luke 14:33
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.
KJV
Where in this verse is there any mention of sexual activity??????
Luke 14:26-27
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and
children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot
be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my
disciple.
KJV
Again, where in this quote is the reference to abstinence, these two verses
specifically mention parents and spouses

who ordained that only a male will be in the 144,000 the bible says that a
woman shall not usurp authority over a man! women have had the
responsibility of teaching and instructing childern both male and female
since the begining, this that you are accepting is the same teaching that
the high priests taught in the time of Jesus. if you look at the vferse that

Before I decided to respond to your message, I read each quote given, and
the whole of the chapters of scripture mentioned. I have studied these
scriptures using the 1611 translation of the King James Version and cross
referenced them with the New Intenational (english language) Version.
27
Well obviously, you really didn't read and consider each quote given. Let's
look at it again.

Now, how can they which are accounted worthy to OBTAIN that world, be those
in heaven, since those in heaven have ALREADY obtained that world, so
obviously, those worthy to OBTAIN, have NOT reached heaven yet and are still
on the earth. But it says those who are the children of God, are equal to
the angels in heaven, do NOT marry, and are children of the resurrection,
which means that they have been resurrected back on the earth. To enter
heaven, you are NOT resurrected, but redeemed. Resurrection is returning to
the earth.

In the FIRST resurrection, where ALL mankind returns to the earth in human
form, to be JUDGED, is what this scripture is referring to. NO ONE is
redeemed, saved, and given the crown of life, until they are JUDGED at the
second coming and have endured until the end. In these end times, marriage
and procreation is NOT necessary for those who desire to be redeemed, for
they have denied themselves, picked up the cross and FOLLOWED Christ,
meaning do as He did, believe as he believed, obeyed all that He said, and
walk as He walked, which HE did NOT marry, but was as the angels of heaven,
and in the return being the FIRSTFRUITS of the children of God.

1 Cor 15:23-24

Jesus' closing remark is "THIS MESSAGE IS FOR
PEOPLE WHO ARE(WISH TO BE) SEXUALLY ACTIVE." The message was never intended
for people who are not able to, or do not have the desire to be sexually
active.
Jesus may have begun by talking about divorce, but ended with the statement
that it is better NOT to marry, and to be eunuchs FOR THE KINGDOM OF
HEAVEN'S SAKE. And his closing remarks were NOT for those who WISH to be
sexually active, but for those who find the narrow road, and make themselves
eunuchs FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN'S SAKE. Thus, if you want to receive the
kingdom of heaven, you will be chaste. Anyone who wants to be sexually
active, do NOT follow and walk as Christ walked, but are earthly, sinful,
lustful and therefore NOT redeemed. The whole purpose for man who want to be
redeemed is to PLEASE GOD, DENY himself, and walk in the will of the Father.
Anyone who wants to have sex and marriage is EARTHLY, and NOT walking in
spirit and truth in the kingdom of God, to be redeemed.

Oh and forsaking your wife constitutes continuing in sexual relations with
your wife? Christ says that you will ALSO inherit eternal life, He does NOT
say that you will receive the blessings in heaven, but says in this world
AND the world to come, meaning that the close intimacy of family will be
received, with the companionship of angels and God, and has absolutely
NOTHING to do with carnal earthly marriage and sex.

SEX is evil and earthly. Money is EVIL and earthly. And had you actually
taken Christ seriously, denied yourself and FOLLOWED HIM, doing as He did,
living as He lived, you would NOT be procreating nor seeking the servitude
of money, but HATING IT.All you are doing is making excuses for DENYING
Christ and DOING as YOU please and indulging in your lusts and wants,
pretending that your sins and evil will be acceptable because you want it to
be. You don't LOVE God and have NO desire to be pure, holy, sinless and
perfect as the Father is, you just want to get away with your evil and
carnal choices and pretend it is good enough for God to get you a spot in
heaven. You couldn't care less about God, only yourself, so you can indulge
in the lusts of the flesh that you have chosen. NO WHERE does Christ say
that a family, wife, children, sex or money is a blessing.

Think about it, is HATING your wife, having sex with her? Fact is, you just
want to make excuses to keep having sex, for it means more to you than God
and even eternal life. All you want is to do anything that you like and
want, and if it means to stop being carnal, earthly and indulging in sex, or
anything that you want to, then you have to find some excuses and ignore the
true meanings of the commands of Christ, and offer nothing but twisting,
distortions and neglect of scripture so you can indulge in sex and anything
you want and still pretend to be redeemed. YOU are to be LIKE CHRIST, FOLLOW
HIM, be perfect and HOLY as the Father is, and GOD, nor Christ have sex,
there is NO sex in heaven, angels do NOT have sex, nor marry, but you want
to do all of these things and pretend that you don't have to give them up on
the earth and that it is ONLY required when you reach heaven. Rubbish, if
you want heaven, then you will act as the angels in heaven, to be considered
WORTHY of that crown of redemption BEFORE you get there, in JUDGMENT.

Dream on, and when you are in hell screaming in anguish, regret and
horror, tell your co-screamers all about your pretense of power over me,
and we'll all have a good laugh.
Talk about "dreaming", I have addressed your claims about marriage, and
proved them unscriptual, also pointed out to our readers who preaches
against marriage. You have been identified for who you are

derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore
displeasure.

Ps 37:12-13
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his

Read Rev.14, to discover what she left out !
Sorry, you are deceived, ignorant of scripture and the truths of God and
love yourself and the things of this world and NOT GOD.
Rev 14:3-5
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the
four
beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred
and
forty and four thousand, which were REDEEMED from the earth.
4 These are they which were not DEFILED with women; for they are VIRGINS.
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were
REDEEMED from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before
the throne of God.
(KJV)

him.

If you are single, then stay that way and serve God. For ONLY single
pure
and chaste people will be redeemed.
Sorry. You're a loon.
