Married my Filipina sweetheart and treated her like a queen. She played the
part so well. Got the green card and whooosh! She's gone!

I was warned and warned. No, this girl is different I said, she's wonderful.
Now I look like a fool.

This happens much more than is talked about. While happy and successful
Fil-Am marriages are the norm, the lady using a dumb, naive American (ME!)
for a ticket to America and green card is NOT an uncommon occurrence by any
means.

Just incase anyone is wondering. There was not a big age difference. I'm not
an old geezer looking for a young wife. Me 47, her 38.

No it isn't the norm... and in fact is rare. You will find far more
broken marriages between 2 Kanos.
As for those who might choose to "grab a card and run" it's extremely
rare.

Not as rare as you might think and I have never seen any reliable evidence
that Filipino-American marriages are any more successful than others.

His dreams, lol. For every successful Fil-Am marriage, I guarantee you there
are two failures. Contrary to what the Fil-Am crowd pushes, the marriages
are NOT more successful than others and they have NO data to prove
otherwise.

The practice of scheming Filipinas, marrying ANYONE to get to the USA and
that green card is a cancer they never talk about. These girls play the role
of the shy, dutiful virgins VERY well.
